Look who's 2!

2 years old, already? You've got to be kidding me! We are so glad that Gavin made it to our family and can't imagine life without him. Even pink eye couldn't ruin his special day. Here's some highlights from his party and a few things that we love about him lately:
*Loves to sing! Some favorites are Row, row your boat, Itsy bitsy spider, 5 little monkeys....
* Says "momomomomom" ALL day long! He likes to tell us "No way" when we ask him to do something followed by "why?"
* Loves his daddy.
* Is obsessed with watching sports especially football. He says "oh no", "oh yes" or puts his arms up for a touchdown depending on the play.
*Is a picky eater, is shy, and has the cutest laugh ever!

Lunch date with Dad

Gav asks me several times a day in his little cave man language where's "dada?" He loves Cody so much and can't wait to see him when he comes home. He doesn't really understand where he goes for hours every day. On Wednesday, we decided to go surprise Daddy at work and take him out to lunch. Gavin loved eating lunch at a restaurant and playing outside at the Gateway. We need to do this WAY more often!

Pumpkin Walk

We took Gavin to the annual Syracuse pumpkin walk last week. I wish I could say he loved it and we created fun family memories, but it was really a disaster! We were one of "those" parents who couldn't control their bratty kid. :) It's kind of funny because Gav is usually really shy and clingy around people he doesn't know, so we just expected him to sit in his stroller and enjoy the ride. Haha! Here are a few quick pictures we took when we weren't chasing after Gavin.

Over the river and through the woods... to Grandma Barbara's house we go!

Gav was nice enough to let his frog have a ride too.

What a goof ball!

Candee made this darling cake.

Who's more excited Crew or Kayson?

Not a big fan of cake.

Grandpa gave all the boys a pumpkin to take home.

Island Park

We went to Island Park with Cody's family in July. What a beautiful place! We were surrounded by mountains and wild flowers. The little boys had a great time exploring, playing in the dirt and water, and going on four wheeler rides. It was great to get away and spend time together. It's kind of sad looking at these pictures again because it makes me miss summer!
