Valentine's Day 2013

We had a lot of fun with Valentine's this year.  Gavin loves holidays and is starting to really get into traditions.  Lucky for him, I wasn't pregnant or tired from being up with a newborn this year! Gavin LOVES to receives mail so Valentine's Day is right up his alley.  Grandma Barbara made him his own mail bag with letters so he could pretend to be a mail man.  He was lucky enough to get not one, but two packages in the mail from Grandma, one from cousin Kayson, and he had a fun party at school where he passed out transformer valentines and ring pops.

Gavin's 4!

This little cutie pie turned 4 on December 5th!  Gavin had a great birthday.  He got to bring the treat to his preschool class, go out to lunch with Grandma, and go to Chuck E. Cheese for dinner.  For his party, he wanted a "chevy" birthday because he LOVES trucks.  Aunt Candee made him a darling cake that he loved so much!

 4 things I love about Gavin:
-He is persistent and knows his own mind! He doesn't ever give up or do anything just because you think he should!
-He is brave.  Gavin has really come along way with his shyness.  He gave his first scripture in primary this year, talks to most everyone, and enjoys going to preschool, and trying new things.
-Gavin is becoming a good helper.  He likes to put away clothes, empty the dish washer, and help his little brother when he's sad.
-Gavin is so funny.  He asked me the other day if Kade wore garments because he was wearing a white onesie under his clothes.  His insights are so funny.  Nothing gets past this kid!
