What's blue, brown, and striped all over?

We finally were able to finish Gavin's nursery this weekend. It was sure fun to decorate his room! If only I had an unlimited budget to decorate the rest of my house.... :) My sister-in-laws, Carlee and Candee, made some adorable letters and a frame for his room. Cody's parents gave us the chair and my dad did the box panel molding. Cody painted the room while I watched. A year ago today, we were down at the U of U praying that our little embryos would take. I am thankful to a Heavenly Father that hears and answers prayers and for our precious miracle baby.

Bon Voyage Megafun!

My sister Megan left for the MTC this past Wednesday. She'll be serving in Denmark and we are so excited for her, but so sad for us. I will really miss her, already do! I am so proud of her and am lucky to be her big sister. We love you Megafun!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Blessed

We blessed Gavin this past Sunday and it was good to get together with both of our families. All of Gavin's great grandparents were able to come even Grandpa and Grandma Orme from Idaho. Cody's mom, Barbara picked out an adorable blessing outfit for him although we about had to cut him out of it because he's so big. Did we mention that he's off the growth charts for weight?

6 week pictures

I've had major anxiety over getting Gavin's picture taken. I wanted to do it when he was a newborn but we were so busy with him and the holidays that the weeks turned into months. I felt terrible that I didn't have any good pictures to remember those first precious weeks. I finally decided to call my friend Amanda and she did a fantastic job! Thanks Amanda for taking so much time and being so sweet to Gavin. He was not very cooperative but I am soo relieved to have the pictures done!
